Celiac Talk Part 1
UC Berkeley’s first class about food allergies and the restaurant industry. This is a clip from the lecture given about Celiac Disease and the gluten free diet. Presenting is Dr. Emily Nock, a UC Berkeley alum who is currently a physician at Kaiser.
This lecture was given to 40 UC Berkeley students enrolled in Public Health 198. This course aims to promote allergy awareness in the Berkeley community. The students will engage in fieldwork by going out and recruiting local restaurants to undergo a short training session that the students will recreate regarding a food allergy.
